Susan Sterling is a professional makeup creator and stylist working with the most famous names in fashion and beauty for more than twenty years. She has traveled the world working with industry leaders to create and translate makeup trends and offer women beauty advice through the pages of magazines and press events in the capitols of world; Paris, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Milan, London, Munich, Madrid and Moscow.

Susan has worked with celebrated photographers including, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Ellen VonUnwerth, Norman Jean Roy and Jonathon Becker to define the look of a broad range of celebrities, models and artists. Her list of celebrities reads like a who’s who in movies, music, politics and society and she has worked with the leading beauty magazines like Vogue, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire to name just a few, to present to and translate the latest beauty news via photos shoots and interviews.

Susan’s acute awareness, sense of perfectionism and eye for detail landed her the role as global spokesperson and makeup stylist for CHANEL to the international beauty press where she contributed and collaborated with former CHANEL Makeup Creators Dominique Moncourtois and Heidi Morawetz on product development and trend-setting color collections in the Paris Makeup Creation Studio from 2001-2008.

She has done makeup for Annie Leibovitz’s Women, Helmut Newton’s, Pages from the Glossies, Sumo, Immorale and Ellen Von Unwerth’s Couples and Wicked and shared her beauty expertise for Charla Krupp’s, How Not to Look Old.
